Updates on Mass times and Confession times: - Confessions on Saturday, May 30, will be moved before morning Mass on Saturday, May 30, so that we can get to the ordinations at the Cathedral.

Healing Mass at St. Therese, June 10: A Healing Mass will be offered once again at St. Therese on Wednesday, June 10, at 5:15 pm. Rosary will begin at 4:45 pm, and confessions will be offered from 5:45 pm to 7 pm. This will be a grace‑filled time for our parish, and we look forward to gathering in prayer and hope.

Graduation Mass Celebration: Join us as we celebrate and honor our graduating seniors at our Graduation Mass! Together, we will give thanks for the accomplishments achieved and the future that awaits them. As a parish community, we are proud of our graduates and excited to pray for them as they begin this next chapter of life. Graduating Seniors, please RSVP by following the QR code even if you cannot attend the Mass as St. Therese would like to stay in contact with you through your college years.
Confirmation: Congratulations to our 42 newly confirmed students who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Tuesday! We are so proud of each of you for taking this important step in your faith journey. May the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue to guide, strengthen, and inspire you as you grow as disciples of Christ. Thank you to our families, sponsors, catechists, and parish community for your prayers and support throughout this journey. Please continue to keep our newly confirmed in your prayers as they continue living out their faith with courage and joy.
Pope Leo XIV’s New Encyclical: Pope Leo XIV’s first encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas, on safeguarding the human person in the time of artificial intelligence, was released on Monday, May 25. The encyclical was signed by the Holy Father on May 15, the 135th anniversary of the promulgation of the Encyclical Rerum Novarum by Pope Leo XIII. One of our parishioners, who has great experience with AI in his profession, has offered to give a presentation on Pope Leo’s new encyclical and AI in July. Stay tuned!
Additionally, I will provide an article by Raymond de Souza, one of the more insightful Catholic columnists who provides a nice overview of how the encyclical fits into our Catholic history. The early Church focused on questions of who is God and who is Jesus Christ? The 16th century and the Protestant Reformation focused on the question of what is the Church? The Second Vatican Council and modernity focus on the question of who is man? Pope Leo XIV and other modern popes have been presenting a vision of humanity inspired by divine Revelation, i.e., in light of Jesus Christ.
The Thomistic Institute: The Most Holy Trinity is extremely challenging to wrap our minds around. Below is a beautiful video by The Thomistic Institute that provides a nice teaching on Most Holy Trinity.

Psalms Course: Save the dates for the fall course on the Psalms. I will offer a five-part series on the Psalms, which are sung or said at every Mass and in the Liturgy of the Hours. The Psalms are a rich array of human expression from times of lament to times of supplication to God, and finally to times of praise. Deacon Michalek will also teach a class on the Liturgy of the Hours that will be a part of this course. This class will be on November 10. Psalms classes will be on Oct. 6 & 20, Nov. 3, 10, 17, and Dec. 1.
Youth Ministry Scholarship Fund THANK YOU: Our fundraiser for this year’s Youth Ministry Scholarship Fund has been a huge success! If you supported us in anyway, please stop by for some treats to that we can express our gratitude! We are also still a little short of our goal, so if you would like to leave a free-will offering or donate at this
